             RIFA Language Class         
We visited classes with RIFA members.
“Patiently” is the key to enjoy learning languages.
           Chinese Class(held by members)

 The moment we entered the class, we heard Chinese melodies, saw Chinese sweets. It made us feel as if we were in China !
They sang us a Chinese song they’ve been practicing. Their voices were very beautiful!
We sang a song in return.

 Ms. Shi Yun Xiang said smilingly, “ I don’t care much about my Japanese pronunciation mistakes, but I am strict with my Chinese pronunciation.”
 The four tones are difficult, but it can be fun with her !!

Fee : 3,000yen/month
Instructor: Shi Yun Xiang
       Korean Class (held by members)

This was the first time we met Ms. Nagata, but we all felt so comfortable. She is cheerful and energetic!
What is the key to keep learning language? We asked.
They all said, “Enjoy language patiently.” “Take it easy!”

In class they enjoyed eating Tijimi while talking about Korean actors.
Now they’re making an illustrated storybook about the Story of Chestnut.

Place: Chuo-Kominkan
Fee: 3,000Yen/ month
Instructor: Junko Nagata
                  Japanese Class

Students’ nationalities are China, Peru, the Philippines.
Children, adults, any are free to participate in class.
(O-9 students at present, it’s not fixed.)
Teachers are all RIFA volunteer staff. They said, “We hope this class is a good place for foreigners in their life here.”
We’re impressed by volunteer staff. (About 7 staff regularly attends)

Place: Chuo Kouminkan
Fee: free
Instructor: volunteer staff
These 3 classes are held throughout the year.
