RIFA Top Koryu Top Japanese
Masao Ota-San, chair person of RIFA General and Public Committee is asked to comment on outputs from questionnaires that will be reported with separate paper.
About quarter of RIFA members responded.
Questionnaires were first for members since RIFA organization.
We had very concern about how many RIFA members would respond to our questionnaires. Consequently, about quarter of members answered to questionnaires. This number would be average and similar to that of voting percentage of certain national erection. Responding percentage could indicate member's degree of concern about RIFA.

Motives of joining RIFA
It becomes clear that quarter of members responding to questionnaires have had RIFA membership for less than 2 years, reviewing contents of outputs in depth, and jointed RIFA with both expectation and concern. These persons select mainly exchange with cross cultures and foreigners as motives of joining RIFA and majority of these persons have participated in RIFA businesses more than twice.

Popular RIFA businesses
Cross cultural exchange salon is most popular in RIFA events. Language classes seem to be attractive for members , but it is obvious that these classes have been utilized for their self-development rather than friendship with other persons. It is understandable that these members are requesting RIFA to consider Spanish and Korean classes hereafter.
It appears that [Koryu] would be red well, but it's home page would not so popular among members. Also, it appears that [ Food and Cultural Exchange ] would be supported sweepingly as special events of 10th anniversary.
Many members are considering that it is necessary to revisit friendship and sister city with fresh eye. Brazil , Peru and India are selected mainly as candidates of friendship and sister city.

RIFA Management so as to reflect member's enthusiasm
It can be said generally that persons responding to this type of questionnaires have enthusiasm to make RIFA better. It is my thought that RIFA should be managed reflecting opinion and thought of such persons.

On November 18, 2007, bus tour started with 23 participants to go toward Koka just in late Autumn. Children participated in tour were more than that in past, therefore tour were always under shout of joy.
At that day ,first winter wind, Kogarashi Ichigoh in Japanese was experienced in Kinki Area, later by 11 days than in last year. Colored leaves were whirling in wind.
